DIMAPUR — The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has announced that all candidates selected through NEET for professional courses under Nagaland state quota will be required to undergo a physical verification of documents.
The verification will take place at the NSF Office in Kohima from August 5 to the 7th, informed a press release issued on Monday. The exercise will be supervised by the NSF Education Committee to ensure fairness and transparency.
Candidates have been directed to appear in person for verification, accompanied by their parents or guardians. They have been asked to carry the following original documents: a recent passport-sized photograph, NEET admit card and score card, HSLC and HSSLC admit cards, Scheduled Tribe Certificate, and Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate.
The federation reiterated its stance that only candidates who are Nagas by blood and indigenous to Nagaland will be considered eligible for seats under the state quota.

Citing previous instances of non-indigenous applicants attempting to claim such seats, the NSF clarified that such practices would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
“Candidates failing to complete the verification within the stipulated dates will be deemed ineligible for allotment,” the statement warned. It further cautioned that any candidate found submitting fraudulent or misleading documents would face appropriate action.
For any clarifications, candidates have been advised to contact the NSF at 8974523931 or 8731911712.
