- DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Democratic Progressive
Party (NDPP) unit of the Razeba area, comprising Zhavame, Zelome, and Tsüpfüme
villages as well as Razeba Adhoc-Town under the 17th Chizami AC, Phek, held a
meeting on June 10 at Razeba and discussed various matters concerning the
Razeba area NDPP party and its people as a whole.
- According to an update, the Razeba area NDPP lauded the
various developmental activities initiated and carried out by the Nagaland
government under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio.
- The party acknowledged the chief minister and the Minister
of Power and Parliamentary Affairs, KG Kenye, for implementing the Pradhan
Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) from Pfutsero to Chilo.
- It also welcomed the project and expressed its satisfaction
that the century-old unrecognised road has been taken up for development by the
present government.
- It was also mentioned that the unit anticipates the
earliest implementation of the project and resolved to provide full support by
standing firm with the Public Works Department (Road and Buildings) in the
allotment of work to M/S SN Enterprises.
- It also sought cooperation from the Razeba area community on
the ongoing work and added that everyone should pave the way for development.
The unit strongly stated that party members will not tolerate any individual or
group obstructing the smooth progress of this PMGSY project.
- It appealed to the contractor, M/S SN Enterprises, to
complete the project on time and maintain quality of work.
