NDPP thanks Delhi High Court and late petitioner’s family after disqualification case dismissed following petitioner’s demise.

DIMAPUR — The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has expressed gratitude to the Delhi High Court and the family of the late petitioner in connection with the disqualification case of the party.
The case, Smt. Zeneisiile Ate Loucii vs. The Election Commission of India & Anr (WP (C) No. 2016/2019), was dismissed following the demise of the petitioner. The petitioner’s family decided not to pursue the matter further, leading to the court’s order dated October 8, 2025.
In a statement issued on Monday, the party thanked the court for its ruling and extended appreciation to the petitioner’s family for their decision not to continue the litigation.
