The NDPP 9th Kohima Town Assembly Constituency reaffirmed loyalty to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, pledging support amid ongoing merger discussions with the Naga People’s Front.

DIMAPUR — The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 9th Kohima Town Assembly Constituency (AC), including all ranks and files, its representatives to the region and central committees, along with former MLA Dr. Neikesalie (Nicky) Kire, have resolved to stand firmly by the decisions of the central office following recent consultative sittings on the proposed merger between the NDPP and Naga People’s Front (NPF).
They also pledged to extend their full support to the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, stating that his vision has always been for the betterment and upliftment of the Naga people and society at large.

In a press statement, the AC President Metekhrielie Mejura and General Secretary Atoulie Solo stated that the party office is fully functional and its officials are actively engaged.
They urged all party officials to serve as true ambassadors of the party, to uphold the party manifesto and ideology, and to work in unity with the vision of serving the people and society.
They also urged all unit members and supporters across colonies and wards to be prepared for the new political developments.
