DIMAPUR — The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 8th Western Angami Assembly Constituency held the induction programme of its newly elected office bearers for the tenure 2024-2027 on August 26 in Kohima at the residence of Salhoutuonuo Kruse, minister for Horticulture and Women Resource Development.
According to an update, addressing the induction programme as the special guest, Kruse asked the party men and women to re-dedicate themselves to the welfare of the party and the constituency as a whole.
She also encouraged the party men and women to work in close coordination to achieve the party’s goals and manifestos.

Further, Kruse assured the gathering that the NDPP government is committed to serving the people under its motto “Facta Non Verba” under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and NDPP President Chingwang Konyak.
Also delivering a short speech, Mhiesilhukho Yalie, President of NDPP 8th Western Angami A/C, asked the office bearers to be united and work cohesively to strive and achieve the aims, objectives and principles of the NDPP.
The NDPP 8th Western Angami A/C will be led by Mhiesilhukho Yalie as president and Khrieto Dahuo as general secretary. The women organisation will be headed by Kazheli Tungoe as president, the youth organisation by Vimekhrielie Krose as president, and the agri and allied organisation by Vikongu Khate as president.
The nomination report was presented by Voto Whiso, convenor of the nomination committee.
