KOHIMA — The Secretary and Chairperson (addl. charge) of the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), Rangumbuing Nsarangbe, has encouraged all the heads of registered institutions under the board to introduce and implement the Shiksharatan India Foundation Scholarship Programme and Award for students from classes 1 to 12.
He informed all the schools under the NBSE that the Shiksharatan India Foundation proposes to introduce the Shiksharatan India Foundation Scholarship Programme and Award for students from classes 1 to 12.
He said the programme aims to encourage, recognise and award students for their outstanding achievements in academics and other areas of excellence, thereby promoting a culture of merit, motivation and holistic development among school students.
Nsarangbe requested schools to note the initiative and cooperate when details, guidelines, and modalities are communicated by the foundation.
He further urged all concerned heads to disseminate the info and help students register for the scholarship programme.
Exam date for Computer Science shifted
In another partial notification, the NBSE secretary informed about the change in routine of Class 11 and HSSLC Examination 2026. The date of examination for Computer Science /Informatics Practices will be March 5, 2026, for both Class 11 promotion and HSSSLC Examination 2026, and not March 4, 2026.
The secretary directed all heads of institutions to inform the students who will appear the above mentioned examinations.
