Northern Angami Sports Association unveils new jersey ahead of Kohima District Futsal Championship exhibition match.

DIMAPUR — The Northern Angami Sports Association (NASA) on Wednesday officially unveiled its new team jersey ahead of its scheduled appearance at an exhibition match during the 3rd Kohima District Futsal Championship 2026.
The launch programme was held at Mez & Co Sports Arena in Kohima and attended by association officials, invited guests and well-wishers.
The jersey was unveiled by Benei M Lamthiu, MLA of 57th Thonoknyu Assembly Constituency and general secretary of the Nagaland Football Association (NFA), who attended the event as the guest.

Addressing the gathering, Lamthiu commended NASA’s efforts to promote sports among Angami youth and said the new jersey represented both identity and ambition. He also encouraged the association to continue advancing its activities and uphold its values through sports.
The programme was chaired by Viliebeizo Liezietsu, general secretary of NASA. An invocation was delivered by Ruokuohelie Vipfhe, assistant wrestling secretary of the association, followed by a keynote address from NASA president Neikeso Zumu.
NASA advisor Vizosielie Khoubve, executives and other invitees also attended the programme.
According to the organisers, the newly launched jersey will make its first appearance when NASA takes on NAYO in an exhibition match during the 3rd Kohima District Futsal Championship 2026.
The formal programme concluded with a practice session and dinner.
