Nagaland Wushu Association adds Tseminyu and Niuland units, taking affiliated districts to 14 ahead of the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Wushu Association (NWA) has inducted Tseminyu and Niuland district units, taking its total affiliated district associations to 14 ahead of preparations for the Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2026.
The decision was taken at an emergency general body meeting held at Talimeren Hall, Nagaland Olympic Association complex, Kohima, on March 17, attended by officials from nine district associations.

According to a press release, the meeting focused on preparations for the conduct of Wushu events in the upcoming Games and resolved to urge all affiliated units to participate actively and select athletes for representation at the Northeast Games 2026.
It also decided to organise a technical session to train officials for the smooth conduct of competitions.
The association further called on district units to identify talent at an early stage and groom athletes towards professional development. Members present also expressed appreciation to Kudecho Khamo, president of the Nagaland Wushu Association and advisor for CAWD & Taxes, for his support and guidance.
