Nagaland Wrestling Association’s U-23 team to compete in national championship at Ranchi, representing state in multiple categories.

DIMAPUR — The U-23 team of Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) will participate in the U-23 National Free Style, Greco Roman, and Women Wrestling Championship scheduled to be held in Ranchi, Jharkhand, from August 22 to 24.
The NWA informed that the team will be led by NWA president Vivolie Kezo and women’s coordinator Vesavolü Soho. Representing Nagaland in the championship are Nosezonu Kuotsu (50 kg, Free Style), Kusayi Tsutso (74 kg, Free Style), and Venu Vadeo (97 kg, Greco Roman).

The championship is being organised by the Jharkhand State Wrestling Association under the aegis of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI).
A brief send-off programme for the team was held on Wednesday at the NWA office, Secretariat Road, Kohima. The association has appealed to the wrestling fraternity and the public to extend their prayers and support for the team as they represent Nagaland at the national level.
