Nagaland University held Startup Sprint in Kohima to guide students and aspiring entrepreneurs on startups, AI and branding.

DIMAPUR — Nagaland University (NU) organised “Startup Sprint: Think Big and Build Fast” on Wednesday at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Kohima Campus.
The one-day seminar was organised with an aim to inspire students and aspiring entrepreneurs to explore startup opportunities and understand the rapidly evolving entrepreneurial ecosystem, informed an update from the university.
In the first session of the seminar, Abhisek Mishra, Additional Director, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Kohima, spoke on “Startup and Government Support in Connection with STPI”, where he emphasised government initiatives and support mechanisms available for startups.
It was followed by a talk from Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bordoloi, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, Nagaland University, on “Growth and Branding Tactics for Startups and Entrepreneurs”, where he dwelled on strategies for scaling and branding new ventures, said the update.

The third session saw Santosh Thota, Co-founder & CTO of Analytos.ai
In yet another engaging session, Chenlep Yakha Konyak, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, Nagaland University, who is also Co-founder of “NagaConnect: Integrated Common Application Platform for Boosting Employment and Business Opportunities in Nagaland”, spoke on local entrepreneurship and employment generation.
Dean, School of Engineering & Technology, and Ramesh Singh, Assistant Professor and In-charge, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, NU, delivered the inaugural address and vote of thanks, respectively.
The seminar saw participation from students, faculty members, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
