Nagaland University Medziphema campus successfully conducted the State Level Eligibility Test 2026 with a 76% turnout.

DIMAPUR — The State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) 2026 was conducted at the Nagaland University, Medziphema Campus, serving as the Nagaland centre, on March 15.
Out of 337 registered candidates across 23 subjects, 256 appeared, achieving a 76% turnout. The exam unfolded in two sessions: Paper I (General Aptitude) from 10 am to 11 am and Paper II (subject-specific) from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
According to a press release, SLET observer Ratul Mohanta from Gauhati University, appointed by the SLET Commission, Assam, expressed high satisfaction: "I am greatly pleased with the flawless conduct of the exam at the Nagaland centre."
Nagaland University Vice-Chancellor Prof. J K Patnaik congratulated the team and stated that it was particularly commendable that the staff members discharged their responsibilities diligently even on a holiday.

Patnaik further stated that Nagaland University remained committed to maintaining high standards in conducting national and state-level examinations and added that the successful organisation of the SLET/SET examination at the SAS Campus reflected the collective dedication and teamwork of the university community.
SLET coordinator at Nagaland University and officer-in-charge for the Nagaland centre, Prof. K K Jha, commended the vice-chancellor for launching SLET in Nagaland in 2024.
He stated that the initiative has opened opportunities for young Naga postgraduates to qualify for SET within the state, paving the way for careers in higher education and human resource development in Nagaland and the Northeast.
