Nagaland University Kohima Campus hosted the Associate Dean’s Cup 2025 finale, celebrating sportsmanship and unity on the theme ‘Breaking Barriers’.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland University Kohima Campus (NUKC) hosted the grand finale of the Associate Dean’s Cup 2025 (ADSW Cup 2025) on September 26 at the university playground on the theme “Breaking Barriers”.
According to an update, team Education and Teacher Education emerged winners, while the runners-up position was secured by team Management and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The Department of History and Archaeology and Psychology was awarded the Best Discipline Team.
Chingkam from the Department of Education received the Best Player award. Abinath Konthoujam from the Department of Management was named Best Keeper. Matemshiba I Jamir from the Department of History and Archaeology was recognised as the Highest Scorer, while Tokwang from the Department of Education received the Best Defender award.
Also, an exhibition match was held between the Nagaland University Students’ Union (NUSU) and Nagaland University Research Scholars’ Forum, Kohima (NURSF-K), in which NURSF-K won.

Earlier, speaking on the occasion, N Venuh, pro-vice-chancellor of NUKC, lauded the organising committee for bringing together the NUKC community through sports in unity.
He emphasised the event’s achievement of breaking barriers, noting that active participation fostered togetherness and a striving for overall good and wellbeing. He concluded with the hope that this initiative would progress further in future editions for the betterment of the university.
