Nagaland University and ARMS Incorporation jointly held workshop on job opportunities in Japan
Nagaland University (NU) and ARMS Incorporation have jointly organised a workshop on job opportunities in Japan at the Capital Convention Centre in Kohima

Meyasashi with NU officials and representatives from Japan’s
Embassy and delegates from 4 prefecture of Japan during the workshop in Kohima
on Wednesday.
- DIMAPUR — Department of Horticulture, Nagaland
University (NU) and ARMS Incorporation have jointly organised a workshop on job
opportunities in Japan at the Capital Convention Centre in Kohima on Wednesday.
- The initiative was aimed at empowering the youth of Nagaland
on sustainable opportunities for skill development, career growth and
international employment particularly in Japan, while equipping them with
long-term skills, knowledge and career pathways for global opportunities.
- The event was attended by key members from four Prefectures
of Japan, specifically representing the construction, agriculture, mechanical
and care-giving industries.
- Delivering the welcome address, the director of Horticulture,
Meyasashi, stated that Japan offers a wide range of job opportunities
particularly in sectors like IT, engineering, agriculture and teaching English.
With Japan's rich cultural heritage and diverse tourist attractions, he added
that there are opportunities in various hospitality sectors.
- The vice president of ARMS Incorporation, Shibata Nagatoshi,
stated that Japan requires manpower for the industries as there is shortage of
human resources due to shrinking population of Japan. He added that due to
increase in ageing population of Japan, there is a shortage of long term
healthcare and nursing personnel.
