Union Minister Shripad Yesso Naik’s three-day visit to Longleng postponed following Goa minister Ravi Naik’s demise.

DIMAPUR — The scheduled three-day visit of Union Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy, Shripad Yesso Naik, to Longleng district from October 16 to the 18th has been postponed following the demise of senior Cabinet Minister and former Chief Minister of Goa, Ravi Naik.
According to official sources and a communication from the Planning department, government of Nagaland, the visit has been postponed and not cancelled.
All departments in Longleng district have been instructed to remain prepared as new dates are expected to be announced soon.
The Union minister’s visit was expected to include key announcements and outline the Union government’s policy directions and development vision for Longleng district.
