KOHIMA — The Nagaland state U-17 girls' football team lost to Haryana 0–4 in the pre-quarterfinal match of the 69th National School Games at Khelgoan Stadium, Ranchi, Jharkhand, on Sunday.
Earlier on Sunday, Nagaland defeated Uttarakhand 4–1 to qualify for the pre-quarter stage. In the match against Uttarakhand, Rokovino Yongo, Zangloa Konyak, Zemloi Konyak, and Lhuvekulu scored a goal each.
An update mentioned that on December 20, Nagaland defeated Vidya Bharati 8–0. In that match, Zemloi T Konyak scored five goals, while Lhuvekulu, Rokothono Thami, and Rukukholu Shijoh added one goal each.
The Nagaland team is led by team manager P George Vizo and coach Kevilebei.
