Nagaland to host its first Pickleball Open on July 13 in Dimapur, featuring training by international coach.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Pickleball Association (NPA) has announced the launch of the 1st Nagaland Pickleball Open, set to be held on July 13 at AIKO Greens, Dimapur.
The event will feature Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles categories, informed a press release.
Established on March 27, 2025, the NPA is hosting this inaugural tournament as part of its efforts to promote and popularise the sport across Nagaland.

In the lead-up to the event, international pickleball player and coach Dilip Mohanty will conduct a special training clinic on July 12, from 6 pm to 8 pm. Mohanty, who serves as Director of the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) India and is a certified PPR Coaches Tutor (USA), is expected to bring world-class coaching to players in the region.
The NPA has invited players across Nagaland to register and participate in this historic tournament. Media partners have also been encouraged to connect with the association for coverage and coordination.
