Kohima, Oct. 1 (EMN): Highlighting its activities undertaken during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Nagaland unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched an e-book on October 1.

State BJP spokesperson Ngampa Konyak launched the e-book in the absence of BJP president Temjen Imna Along.

The state BJP secretary and convenor of e-book committee, Zaveyi Kezo, informed that that the party along with the state IT team had designed and completed seven e-books.

The book contains several initiatives undertaken by the 12 BJP legislators and all party karyakartas to develop and assist the people of the state during the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

It was launched with an objective to appreciate the tremendous services carried out by all karyakartas, Kezo said, adding that the e-book would be made available throughout the state.

“Due to the pandemic, hard copies will not be made readily available at present. But it will be arranged at a later stage,” Kezo said.

Shantanu Kalita, Northeast in-charge and co-ordinator of e-book, lauded the BJP Nagaland unit for bringing out the e-books. He stated that such documentation would help the future generations to learn about the Covid-19 pandemic.

The co-chief spokesperson of BJP Nagaland, Nini Cheng, stated that the e-book is a testimony of the various activities and contributions made by the Nagaland BJP workers in the state.
