Nagaland Rhododendron Society honours interns at a certificate distribution ceremony in Kohima, emphasising conservation.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Rhododendron Society (NRS) organised the Internship Certificate Distribution Day at Rhododendron Restaurant, Kohima, on Saturday.
The programme was attended by office bearers of the NRS, members, mentors, and interns, stated a press release.
The event marked the culmination of the interns’ learning journey, during which they contributed to conservation awareness, documentation, and promotion of rhododendron biodiversity in Nagaland.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Azo Louis Khariitso, advisor of NRS, congratulated the interns and encouraged them to remain committed to environmental conservation and sustainable development.

Dr. Keluhol Tase, president of NRS, highlighted the importance of youth participation in preserving Nagaland’s rich floral heritage, particularly rhododendrons, which hold ecological and cultural significance.
Certificates were distributed to the interns. The society expressed its appreciation to all mentors and supporters who guided the interns throughout the programme.
