  • DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has expressed dismay at the statement made by Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio during his visit to Mokokchung that the revocation order for the regularisation of 147 assistant professors was based on the interim report of the High Powered Committee (HPC) and that the final decision would be made only after the HPC's final report.

  • In a press statement, the NPCC said that if the earlier flip-flop decisions of the Cabinet were not enough, the CM had reduced the Cabinet's decision to a joke by taking shelter under a committee constituted by it, which is an added insult to those aspirants seeking justice.

  • “NPCC wishes to remind the Chief Minister that heading an opposition-less govt does not entitle him to keep shifting the goalposts and make a mockery of having a Cabinet meeting without being serious about the decisions taken,” the statement read.
