- DIMAPUR — The
Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) has announced that it will celebrate Olympic
Day 2025 on June 23 at IG Stadium, Kohima. The event is part of a worldwide
initiative to promote the Olympic values of Move, Learn, and Discover through
sports and community engagement.
- A key highlight of the celebration will be track races for
children aged 8 to 12 years, with a prize pool exceeding INR 1 lakh. The races
are categorised based on age and distance as follows:

- 50 metres (Boys & Girls): Born between June 22, 2015,
and June 22, 2016
- 80 metres (Boys & Girls): Born between June 22, 2014,
and June 22, 2015
- 80 metres (Boys & Girls): Born between June 22, 2013 –
June 22, 2014
- 100 metres (Boys & Girls): Born between June 22, 2012,
and June 22, 2013
- Participants are expected to report at 8 am on the event
day.
- Online registration for the races is currently open, with
the last date for submission set for June 17. Interested participants can
register by scanning the QR code available on official posters, visiting the
registration link shared on NOA’s social media platforms, or by collecting
forms directly from the NOA office in Kohima.
