Nagaland Cricket Association announces trials for 2025–26 state teams

  • DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) announced open trials for the selection of players for various state teams for the 2025–26 cricket season.

  • An update from the NCA outlined the schedule for the Open Player Trials (2025–26).

  • The boys' U-16 trials will be held on June 17 at Sovima Cricket Ground. The men’s U-19 trials are scheduled for June 18 and 19 at the same venue. The men’s U-23 trials will take place on June 20 and 21 at Sovima Cricket Ground.

  • Senior men’s trials are set for June 23 and 24. The women’s U-15 and U-19 trials will be held on June 25, followed by the women’s U-23 and senior trials on June 26, all at Sovima Cricket Ground.

  • The U-15 girls must be born between September 1, 2010, and August 31, 2013. U-16 boys must be born between September 1, 2009, and August 31, 2011. U-19 boys and girls must be born on or after September 1, 2005. U-23 men’s and women’s players must be born on or after September 1, 2002.

  • Registration must be completed through the respective district cricket associations. A recommendation letter, original birth certificate, Aadhaar card, and three years of academic certificates (for specific categories) must be presented at reporting. Reporting time is 8:30 am.

  • It was specified that players must wear white playing attire and attend trials at their own expense. Fitness tests and document verification are part of the selection process.
