Ura Academy announces annual writers & poets meet
DIMAPUR — The Ura Academy Kohima has announced its annual writers and poets meet on October 29 and 30 at the Ura Academy Hall, Mission Road. According to an update, the event will take place on October 29 from 2 pm and continue on October 30 from 10 am. Writers and poets are invited to participate and are requested to inform the office bearers of Ura Academy if they have any new books to be released during the annual meet. Additionally, poets who have written at least three new poems are encouraged to submit their work during the meet. Chümoukedima DPDB meeting on October 10
DIMAPUR — The DPDB meeting of Chümoukedima district for the month of October will be held on October 10 at 11 am at the DC’s conference hall, Chümoukedima. DC Chümoukedima Polan John, in a circular, requested all members to attend the meeting positively.

Pulse polio drive in Tuensang on October 12
DIMAPUR — Chief Medical Officer, Tuensang, Dr. Imlitemsu Ozukum, has notified that the Sub-National Immunisation Day (SNID) or pulse polio immunisation campaign, will be conducted on October 12 to immunise all children under 5 years of age with two drops of Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV). This will be followed by house-to-house visit on October 13 and the 14th across Tuensang district, a DIPR report stated.
GPRN/NSCN (U) notification to Arunachal CSOs
DIMAPUR — The GPRN/NSCN (U) has, in a notification, informed all the CSOs, public leaders and village authorities under Changlang, Tirap, Longlen and Khonsa districts of Arunachal Pradesh that “all matters” should be routed through Monlem Wangnao, Kilonser Supervisor of Arunachal Affairs. “Henceforth any individual or group found deviating from this notification will be doing so at their own risk,” the group stated.
