NTPRADAO reiterates suspension demand

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Transparency Public Rights Advocacy & Direct Action Organisation (NTPRADAO) has reiterated its demand for the immediate suspension of Dimapur Municipal Council nominee and NDPP youth leader Enoch S Wotsa, son of an LJP (RV) MLA, pending investigation and proof of innocence in the registered criminal case. In a press release, the NTPRADAO also slammed the alleged inaction of DMC chairperson and deputy chairperson - both from NDPP - for failing to apprise the higher ups on the suspension issue. It also condemned LJP (RV) state president Viloto Pukhato for remaining a “silent spectator.” “For ordinary citizens, if illegal liquor transportation is caught red- handed, they suffer jail for a couple of months, but in the case of Enoch S Wotsa he seems to be presently roaming around scot-free,” it added.
