KVYO winter bazaar from November 20
DIMAPUR — The Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) has decided to organise the yearly winter bazaar from November 20 to December 24 at Khuochiezie local ground, Kohima. Convenor of the KVYO winter bazaar, Mhasimhalie Yhome, informed that the bazaar would feature both new and second-hand garments, vegetables, a mela, a trade fair and many more. He informed that forms would be available from the first week of November. Interested individuals/parties are asked to visit KVYO’s office in Probogei at United Traders Building, main town in Kohima.
One unidentified body recovered
DIMAPUR — Dimapur Police on Wednesday recovered one unidentified body of a non-Naga male, aged around 55-60 years, from a roadside at a daily market located at Naga Shopping Arcade. A police report stated that the body was taken to the morgue at District Hospital, Dimapur, for postmortem examination after completion of all legal formalities. Relatives and friends of the deceased are asked to contact the officer in charge of East Police Station, Dimapur, on phone no. 7085055020 for further information.

KSUD holds freshers’ meet
DIMAPUR — The Khiamniungan Students’ Union Dimapur (KSUD) held its freshers’ meet-cum-felicitation programme at Town Hall, Dimapur, on October 11, on the theme “Celebrating excellence, embracing new beginnings”. According to an update, P Longon, MLA of the 56th Noklak Assembly Constituency, attended the occasion as the special guest, while T Musho Lam, president of the Khiamniungan Sports Council, attended as the guest of honour. The valedictory guest for the Mr. and Miss Fresher contest was H Shou, joint director, Department of Sericulture. The event featured the felicitation of achievers in various undertakings and the Mr. and Miss Fresher 2025 contest.
