- DIMAPUR — The
central core team of the Nagaland National Pension System Government Service
Employees Forum (NNPSGSEF) held a meeting on June 3 to discuss the
restructuring of the NNPSGSEF central core executives.
- According to an update, the process of restructuring was
agreed upon by the house and led by the former president, Moanungsang Jamir,
who affirmed that the move was progress towards achieving the Forum’s original
aim when it was formed in 2022 – to ‘scrap NPS, restore OPS’.
- The meeting was held with a sense of purpose solely aimed at
advancing the forum’s objective. Members agreed that the forum requires a
stronger team to progress with effective plans and strategies, making the
restructuring and introduction of new members essential.

- The new team comprises Avizo Nienu (president), Jentinochet
(vice president), Imnasenla Pongener (general secretary), Longshibeni
(assistant general secretary), Adabe Namgi (finance secretary), Theyiesinuo
Solo (assistant finance secretary), and Toang Lemanghu (spokesperson).
- The newly elected president emphasised the importance of
teamwork with efficient members to drive development and success. He added
that, although the team has been working diligently since its inception, it is
time to strengthen efforts and move forward with renewed commitment and
dedication.
- Nienu expressed gratitude to the former president and all
team members for their contributions to the forum thus far and pledged to carry
forward its objectives.
