Nagaland Medical Council publishes list of registered allopathic medical practitioners

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Medical Council (NMC) has published the 2nd lists of all registered allopathic medical practitioners, who are serving in government sector, practicing in hospitals/ nursing homes/ clinics registered under Nagaland healthcare establishment authority in the State for public awareness.
In an update the council stated that the qualification(s) are of those recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI)/ National Medical Commission (NMC) and duly registered with the State Medical Council. It has cautioned the proprietors of private hospitals/ nursing homes/ clinics to employ only registered medical practitioners.
It also informed that only registered medical practitioner can serve or practice modern medicine as mandated by the National Medical Commission Act 2019 and Nagaland Medical Council Act 2014. The council further reminded all serving/ practicing allopathic doctors to mandatorily renew their registration every five years.
