MOKOKCHUNG — The Nagaland Judo Association (NJA) is preparing to participate in the upcoming Northeast Japan Caravan 2025–2026, scheduled for March 7 and 8, at the State Academy Hall in Kohima.
The two-day programme will feature an engaging Judo demonstration by the association, offering attendees a glimpse into the discipline, technique, and spirit of the martial art.
The association will be represented by a team of 14 judokas, including eight male and six female athletes, from the NJA Headquarters in Mokokchung.

The contingent will be accompanied by Rongsentoshi Jamir, Vice President; Somnath Chakraborty, General Secretary; Alemyanger Jamir, member; Tsaliese Rongsen, member; and Suradip Basak, technical instructor.
Through its participation, the Nagaland Judo Association aims to raise awareness about Judo in the region and provide its young practitioners public exposure and a platform to display their training and abilities.
