DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) has clarified its position regarding reports on the ban of satanic worship in Nagaland, stating that certain media outlets have misrepresented its stand. The forum said it has been wrongly suggested that it is opposed to the ban, which it termed “completely inaccurate”.
In a press statement on Tuesday, NJCF affirmed that it supports the ban on satanic worship and expressed regret over any misinterpretation that may have arisen.
It reiterated that it has consistently supported the prohibition of satanic and unbiblical practices, urging that such activities be banned decisively and without unnecessary debate or publicity so that they do not gain attention or legitimacy.
According to NJCF, misrepresentation of its position has spread across different platforms, creating confusion among the public and reflecting negatively on the image of Nagaland. It clarified that it fully supports the ban and “firmly condemns satanic worship and all other unbiblical practices”.
