Health and Family Department reviews implementation of Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abiyaan and other related issues concerning health services.

DIMAPUR — The Health and Family Welfare Department held a meeting on Friday under the chairmanship of its commissioner and secretary, Anoop Khinchi, to review the implementation of Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abiyaan (SNSPA) and other related issues concerning health services.
An update from the Health department stated that the meeting held at IDSP conference hall of its directorate was co-chaired by its principal director, Dr. Mereninla Senlem.
The meeting was intended to assess the quality of health service delivery in regard to the ongoing health camps as part of the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan, which aims to enhance healthcare access in rural and tribal areas by deploying specialist medical services.

It stated that health facilities across Nagaland are continuing with activities focused on the wellbeing of women and children by organising screenings and awareness as well as counseling and community engagement.
During the meeting, in-depth review of reporting system was discussed and resolved to collaborate more between IT section and vertical programme for ease of reporting, which could potentially be utilised for research and case study. It also emphasised on the importance of adequate and proper training of staff and field monitoring so that proper guidance could be imposed for better healthcare delivery system.
