Directorate of Health and Family Welfare held a farewell programme for outgoing Principal Director Dr. Mereninla Senlem and Director Dr. Menguzenuo Margaret Yhome.

DIMAPUR — The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare (DoHFW) bid farewell to outgoing Principal Director Dr. Mereninla Senlem and Director (Health) Dr. Menguzenuo Margaret Yhome at the DoHFW lobby in Kohima on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner and Secretary of Health and Family Welfare Kevileno Angami stated that the service of the outgoing officers has been tremendous and thanked them for their contributions, which have made a positive impact on society, the department, and the institution.
According to an update, in her farewell speech, Dr. Mereninla Senlem reminisced about her years of service, highlighting the hardships, successes, and guidance from seniors and colleagues that shaped her career. She added that maintaining a good relationship and harmony with the District Task Force or any administration is helpful in executing work and achieving goals.
Dr. Senlem also noted that the National Health Mission has many talented and efficient employees, and the department can make use of this existing manpower through structural changes in the future. She added that all sections of the department have scope to grow further and encouraged the staff to work cooperatively and communicate openly.

Dr. Menguzenuo Margaret Yhome also thanked her professional colleagues and seniors for their guidance and support during her service in the department, wishing continued success to the department.
Dr. Keveduyi Theyo, Mission Director (NHM), stated that the occasion is a time to express gratitude for the outstanding leadership of the outgoing officers, whose integrity will be remembered. He highlighted their service journeys and achievements.
Dr. Theyo, who is also the incoming principal director, pronounced his acceptance speech and assured that he accepts the position with humility and sincerity. He added that the legacy of the institution is built by many outgoing officers and promised to work while upholding the core principles of growth and success.
