The Hakhizhe Kiphimi Kuqhakulu celebrated the academic achievements of village students during its Summer Meet.
DIMAPUR — The 34th Hakhizhe Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (HKK) organised its Summer Meet-cum-Felicitation Programme on Saturday to celebrate and honour the academic achievements of students from Hakhizhe village, Niuland.
According to an update, the highlight of the felicitation programme was the special recognition accorded to Akivi Benison Aye, who secured second position in the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination in the Science stream.
In recognition of this outstanding academic achievement, the topper was presented with a cash award.
Additionally, the union felicitated other students who secured 85 per cent and above in their examinations, presenting them with cash prizes to encourage their continued dedication to their studies.
The proceedings included a welcome address delivered by HKK President Piketo Shohe. A dedicatory prayer for the student community was pronounced by HGBA Pastor K Pukhaho Swu.
Words of encouragement and guidance for the students were shared by Govt. Primary Teacher Kakheto Zhimo, while the vote of thanks was delivered by General Secretary Kikhevi Aye to conclude the event.
