KOHIMA — Governor of Nagaland La Ganesan has undergone a surgery on his leg and is currently receiving treatment in Chennai, according to a reliable source.
The surgery was carried out this week, and his condition is reported to be stable. He is recovering well and is expected to return to Nagaland and resume office early next week, the source said.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, in a post on X, conveyed prayers and best wishes for the Governor’s recovery on behalf of the people of Nagaland.
“We pray for renewed strength and a swift return to your duties, continuing to guide the state with wisdom,” he wrote.
