Nagaland Gorkha Association hands over relief fund for Mon landslide victims — Members of the Nagaland Gorkha Association and Konyak Union Kohima gathered outside the Gorkha Public Panchayat Multi-Utility Hall in Chandmari, Kohima, on September 12.

DIMAPUR — A formal handover ceremony between the Nagaland Gorkha Association and the Konyak Union Kohima was held at the Gorkha Public Panchayat Office in Kohima on September 12.

During the programme, a relief fund amounting to INR 1,80,000, collected by the Nagaland Gorkha Association from its federating units across Nagaland, was handed over to Khongjah Konyak, President of the Konyak Union Kohima, for the victims of the Mon disaster.

The ceremony was chaired by PK Thapa, General Secretary of the Nagaland Gorkha Association, and addressed by Nobin Pradhan, President of the Nagaland Gorkha Association, and Khongjah Konyak, President of the Konyak Union Kohima.
