Nagaland Election: BJP chief Nadda to arrive Nagaland on Feb. 14

KOHIMA — Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda is arriving in Nagaland today, February 14, to launch the party’s manifesto for the general election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly, which is scheduled to be held on February 27.

Sources from the party told Eastern Mirror that the party chief will arrive in Dimapur on February 14 morning and proceed to Kohima after a brief halt to address a public meeting with the People's Democratic Alliance (PDA) alliance (NDPP-BJP) at the Capital Cultural Hall in Kohima.

After the public meeting, Nadda will proceed to the State BJP office, Kohima, where he will address party members and workers before launching the party manifesto for the state election.

Nadda will address the meeting along with Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Dy. CM Y Patton, while NDPP Secretary General Abu Metha will deliver the welcome address and BJP Nagaland President Temjen Imna Along will propose the vote of thanks.

The BJP president is scheduled to leave Kohima the same afternoon.
