DIMAPUR — Power supply across Dimapur, Chümoukedima, Peren and Niuland districts will be disrupted for three hours on April 11 due to scheduled maintenance at a key sub-station, the department of Power informed on Friday.
A press release issued by Dimapur Transmission Division stated that the shutdown will be carried out at the 3x100 MVA 132/66/33 kV Nagarjan Sub-Station from 5 am to 8 am as part of its annual maintenance exercise.

The temporary outage is necessary to ensure smooth functioning and reliability of the power infrastructure, it added.
During the shutdown period, electricity supply to all areas under the four districts will remain affected.
Expressing regret over the inconvenience caused, the department appealed to consumers for cooperation during the maintenance work.
