A District Court staffer in Meluri filed a First Information Report alleging threats by a DC Office peon, with police confirming the accused is in custody.

DIMAPUR — An employee of the District Court in Meluri has lodged an FIR against a peon at the DC Office, Meluri, accusing him of issuing threats.
A police officer in Meluri confirmed that an FIR has been received and that the accused is currently in police custody for questioning.

According to the FIR, the incident occurred at around 1.40 pm on April 9 while the victim was at her desk.
The complainant alleged that the accused approached her, placed a gun on the table, and threatened and intimidated her without any provocation.
Police said that the case is currently under enquiry and that further details cannot be shared at this stage.
