DIMAPUR — The Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) has extended its support and solidarity to the ongoing pen-down strike initiated by the Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association (CANSSEA) and the Federation of Nagaland State Services Employees Association (FONSESA), NSSA, NF&ASA under the banner of the Joint Coordination Committee (JCC).
In a press release, the association reiterated that it firmly upholds the principles of equal opportunity and stands resolutely against all forms of corruption, guided by its motto ‘Probity ad infinitum’ (Honesty and integrity without end).
“The CTAN remains unwavering in its mission to promote transparency and accountability. With the same spirit that has driven its past reforms, the association continues its steadfast journey to build a just, ethical, and corruption-free Nagaland,” it stated.

“We stand firmly with the state service associations in their rightful demand for transparency, meritocracy, and adherence to due process in the induction of officers into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).”
The CTAN stated that the irregularities in the selection process, including alleged backdoor appointments, compromised the principles of fairness and equal opportunity crucial for Nagaland's public administration's progress. The association added that such practices demoralise dedicated employees and eroded public trust in governance systems.
“CTAN recognises that this pen-down strike, commencing from October 14, 2025, is a necessary step to highlight these critical issues and urge the state government to rectify them promptly. We call upon all right thinking organisations to join in this collective effort, ensuring that our voices are heard unitedly for a just and equitable system,” it added.
