DIMAPUR — To commemorate the birth anniversary of Rahul Gandhi, Member of Parliament and former Congress President, the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) on Thursday organised a special blood donation camp at Congress Bhavan, Kohima.

In a press release, the NPCC stated that the event served as a meaningful platform to the people to come together in the spirit of service and donate blood — a precious gift of life.

Lok Sabha MP and NPCC President S Supongmeren Jamir thanked donors for their generosity and lauded the medical staff from Naga Hospital Kohima for their professionalism and dedication during the blood donation camp.

Later in the day, the MP, accompanied by his team of aides and party workers, visited the Kohima Orphanage.

“There, they spent quality time with the children, donated essential supplies, and shared words of encouragement. He exhorted the children to pursue their dreams with determination and assured them of continued support from the party,” the release stated.

“The NPCC reaffirms its commitment to social welfare and community service, in keeping with the ideals and values espoused by Rahul Gandhi.”
