- DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Pradesh Congress
Committee (NPCC) has served a 7-day ultimatum to the chief secretary, demanding
a corrigendum to the April 13, 2025, notification regarding transfers and
postings issued by the state government on Palm Sunday.
- In the ultimatum dated April 2, the NPCC president and Lok
Sabha MP, S Supongmeren Jamir, reminded that the NPCC had earlier, on April 24,
also written to the chief secretary to issue a corrigendum on the same issue, but
to no avail.
- “In the event of failure on your part within the aforesaid
period, the NPCC shall be compelled to resort to its own course of action to do
justice to the Christians among the Nagas,” the ultimatum read.
