Nagaland College of Music and Fine Arts celebrated its 10th anniversary with an alumni concert in Kohima.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland College of Music and Fine Arts (NCMFA), Kohima, organised an alumni concert on August 2 at the college premises.
Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhütso attended the evening as the special chief guest, while NCMFA Board Member and NBCC Youth Secretary Rev. Suhoto Chishi opened the concert evening with a prayer.
According to a press release, in his address, Dr. Rhütso spoke on the potential and benefits that music offers and the central role it plays in social and individual lives. He encouraged the institute to create windows of opportunities to display talents and music as a whole on greater performance-orientated stages.

The concert was organised in commemoration of NCMFA’s 10th anniversary since its establishment in 2016.
The concert featured alumni who brought music of the past and present in their refined areas. The performers also brought forth their original compositions.
