Neiphiu Rio reviews road and tourism projects in Lower Tizu, Kiphire, during four-day visit with officials and legislators

DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio led a delegation to the Lower Tizu area under Pungro sub-division in Kiphire district to review ongoing road and tourism infrastructure projects during a four-day visit from April 10 to the 13th.
During the visit, the delegation inspected the construction of a Tourist Amenities Centre at Lower Tizu and reviewed road projects, including the Lower Tizu road via Moya and the Setsu-Lalori-Phor road.
According to a DIPR update, the team also visited Ranyak Khun Cave at Mimi and held interactions with members of the Mimi Circle Joint Council, where the scope for future development activities in the area was discussed.

The delegation comprised Kaisa Rio, Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton, Minister for Rural Development and SIRD Metsubo Jamir, Minister for Women Resource Development and Horticulture Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Advisor for School Education and SCERT Dr. Kelhrielhoulie Yhome, Advisor for Geology and Mining and DUDA W Chingang Konyak, Advisor for New and Renewable Energy and NSDMA Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, Advisor for Home Guard and Civil Defence, Fire and Emergency Services, Relief and Rehabilitation S Kiusumew Yimchunger, MLAs Y M Humtsoe, Dr. Tseilhoutuo Rhütso and Benei M Lamthiu, Commissioner and Secretary for Geology and Mining John Kevi Angami, and OSD for Geology and Mining Kekhriezavi Lea.
The district administration of Kiphire, along with police personnel, facilitated the visit.
