Nagaland: Chungai Phom is Miss Longleng 2025

DIMAPUR — The grand finale of the Miss Phom 2025 beauty pageant, organised by the Yingla Welfare Society was held at Multipurpose hall, Longleng on October 24 on the theme “Radiate Confidence, Redefine Beauty.”

An update from the DIPR, Longleng issued on Monday informed that the 23-year-old Chungai Phom (contestant no. 11) emerged victorious, outshining a field of talented contestants to win the coveted Miss Phom 2025 title.

24-year-old A. Chumei Yajem was adjudged first runner-up, while 21-year-old Lekup B. Phom secured the second runner-up position.

The event’s special guest, Hiatwa Iralu, additional Superintendent of Police, Longleng, commended the contestants for their confidence and stage presence. He encouraged the young women to continue pursuing their dreams fearlessly and to represent the Phom community with pride and dignity.

The judges for the evening were Neitho Khamo, PR and Marketing Manager at the Beauty and Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) as chief judge; C. Tsalimse Sangtam, EAC, HQ Longleng; and M. Chingong Phom.

Nominees for Music Awards of Nagaland 2025 announced

The pageant, organised to celebrate and empower the young women of the Phom community, concluded with thunderous applause and renewed inspiration, the update further informed.

The glamorous evening was brought to life by choreographer Chumei Phom, show director Moile Longkongly, official photographer Mac Phom, official designer Bukam Phom, and official makeup artist Phakmei Phom, with a special performance by artist Hentok Konyak.

Subtitle winners are:

• Miss Congeniality: Chungai Phom (contestant no. 11)

• Miss Beautiful Smile: Denja Phom (contestant no. 10)

• Miss Talent & Miss Perfect 10:  T. Nyiphen Phom (contestant no. 8)

• Miss Multimedia: H. Nyumumg (contestant no. 5)
