KOHIMA — 19-year-old Ritsala Thonger was crowned Miss Kohima 2025 during the grand finale held at RCEMPA in Jotsoma on Tuesday.
This year’s pageant was held on the theme “Beauty. Health. Beyond”.
Thonger, a student from Tetso College, is in BA third semester, and she aspires to become a social worker. She was crowned by Kelülü Dawhuo Miss Nagaland 2024.
After being crowned the winner, she told media persons that she wants to advocate and spread awareness of HIV and AIDS among the youth and society through the platform of beauty with a purpose project.
19-year-old Neilanuo Sachü emerged as the first Runner-up while 19-year-old Kechangunuo Kelio won the second runner-up title.
A total of 16 participants vied for the Miss Kohima 2025 grand finale.

Kelülü Dawhuo crowned Miss Kohima 2024
The judges were Lipokzulu Lemtur, General Secretary of BASN; Neisavinuo Mor, headmistress of Footprints Academy; Dr. Keduovinuo Keditsu medical director of Putuonuo Hospital; and Ketouu Pfusenuo, Miss Kohima 2022 2nd runner-up.
The event was managed and produced by 4front event management, powered by Putuonuo hospital, supported by Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN), and hosted by Kohima Science College, Kohima.

Theja Sekhose was the show director while Peweu Tunyi was the official groomer and choreographer.
During the pageant, special songs were also performed by Azeno Nakhro, Khunyu T, Himshanchuba and Thanggoumang Lotjem.
