Body of a youth who drowned at Doyang Dam was recovered after a joint search by State Disaster Response Force and National Disaster Response Force teams.

WOKHA — The body of a youth who drowned at Doyang Dam on April 11 was recovered in the early hours of Friday.
According to sources, a fisherman on his way to check his nets, along with personnel of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) on routine duty, spotted the body floating in the reservoir at around 5.40 am, following which it was retrieved.
The youth had reportedly drowned between 2 pm and 2.30 pm on April 11.

A joint search operation by SDRF and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) began on April 12, involving deep divers and underwater drone surveillance by the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA).
The operation continued until April 15 before being partially called off, though one SDRF unit remained stationed with a motorboat for surveillance until April 17.
