Naga youth from Wokha dies after falling ill on train to Kerala, body being brought back to Nagaland.

DIMAPUR — A Naga youth, identified as Ekonthung O Humtsoe (34) from Liphayan village in Wokha district, died on April 15 while travelling to Kerala in search of employment.
Speaking to Eastern Mirror, Rendemo C Tsanglao, president of Lotha Students’ Union Delhi (LSUD), said that Ekonthung fell ill onboard a train near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh while on his way to Kerala.
He was admitted to a government hospital in Vijayawada by co-passengers but passed away around two hours later. Tsanglao said that the family members were informed about the incident on April 16.

He added that after completion of legal formalities, the body was brought to Hyderabad early Saturday morning around 3.30 am, and embalming has been completed for transportation to Nagaland.
The mortal remains are expected to be flown from Hyderabad to Nagaland at 4 am on Sunday.
