DIMAPUR — The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has expressed concern over the incident in Dimapur on April 13, where a woman was allegedly robbed at gunpoint in broad daylight near her residence.
As a mother body representing the voice and safety of women, the organisation stated that it finds the act extremely disturbing and alarming.
"Such incidents not only threaten individual security but also shake the collective sense of safety in our society. Dimapur, and Nagaland as a whole, has long been regarded as one of the safer places for women in India, making this occurrence even more concerning," it stated in a release.
