Naga People's Front Wokha Division held a public meeting in Ward No. 8 to prepare for the upcoming Tsumang B by-election and seek support for candidate Aling Lotha.

WOKHA — The Naga People's Front (NPF), Wokha Division, convened a public meeting attended by party workers and residents of Ward No. 8 (Tsumang B) at the Village Development Board (VDB) and Wokha District Village Council Chairman Association (WDVCCA) Hall on Wednesday in preparation for the upcoming urban local body (ULB) by-election.
The meeting was attended by NPF Secretary General Achumbemo Kikon; Mhathung Yanthan, MLA and Advisor; Y Mhonbemo Humtsoe, MLA; and Dr. Chumben Murry, Advisor and Senior Vice President of the Central Office Bearers (COB), NPF.
Expressing gratitude to party workers and leaders for their trust, Aling Lotha, the NPF candidate for Ward No. 8, sought support for the ensuing ULB by-poll, assuring them he would work for the welfare of his ward and the community if elected.

Kikon pointed out that NPF's strength lies at the grassroots level, noting that the party carefully studied applications before awarding the ticket to Lotha. He highlighted the party’s role in safeguarding both the interests of the people and the Constitution of India.
