DIMAPUR — The Naga People’s Front (NPF) divisions in Mon and Phek conducted oath-taking ceremonies for their newly appointed office bearers on December 16 and 13 respectively.
The NPF Mon division conducted its oath-taking ceremony and induction programme at the NPF Mon Division Conference Hall, stated an update.
Delivering the welcome address, S Chingyem Konyak, president of NPF Mon, highlighted the importance of unity, discipline, cooperation, and commitment within the party.
The oath-taking of newly appointed division office bearers and assembly constituency presidents was administered by Tongang, general secretary (COB). The dedicatory prayer for the new team was offered by Rev. Yeangphong, district chaplain.

H Shamlau Konyak, vice president and Mon division in-charge (COB), in his speech, emphasised the need for collective responsibility and organisational discipline to further strengthen the party at all levels.
He stated that the NPF continues to move forward with renewed confidence and vision under the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, chief minister and president of the NPF. He further acknowledged the dedicated efforts of Achumbemo Kikon, MLA and secretary general of NPF, for his tireless work in strengthening the party.
NPF Phek conducted its oath-taking ceremony for the newly appointed assembly constituencies office bearers and frontal (youth, women and farmers wing) organisations on December 13 at TT Hall, Pfutsero town.
The ceremony covered the 16th Pfutsero, 17th Chizami, 18th Chozuba, and 19th Phek assembly constituencies.
Api Vadeo, working president of NPF Phek, in his welcome address, encouraged all party ranks and files to strengthen the party. He also asked the members to be disciplined as an army towards the party.
Delivering a short speech, K Puro, vice president of NPF (COB), requested all the assembly constituency leaders to take the party oath loyally and be committed to the party. He voiced that every party member should be treated equally.
