DIMAPUR — The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Minority Wing Central held a consultative meeting in Dimapur on Wednesday, bringing together office bearers and representatives from multiple divisions.
The meeting witnessed the presence of senior leaders from the central office of the Naga People’s Front, with Pusazo Luruo, Working President of Central NPF, and N R Zeliang, in charge of the Minority Wing Central, addressing the gathering as key speakers.
Other notable speakers included Mahesh Agarwal, Working President of the Minority Wing Central and member of DMC; Apun Naben, President, Central; Raju Pradhan, President, Dimapur III AC; and Mukesh Kumar, President, Minority Wing Chümoukedima Division.

In his address, Bishnu Bhattacharjee, president of NPF Minority Wing Central, highlighted the vision, structure, and functioning of the Minority Wing. He expressed appreciation to members for their support and participation, stressing that their collective efforts continue to strengthen both the wing and the party as a whole.
Pusazo Luruo reflected on the party’s journey from its inception to the present, underlining the importance of discipline, unity, and adherence to party principles. He, along with N R Zeliang, commended the dedication and contributions of the Minority Wing members and encouraged them to further intensify their efforts in strengthening the party at all levels.
N R Zeliang reaffirmed the central leadership’s continued support and stressed that the NPF remains committed to inclusivity, equality, and mutual respect, ensuring that all communities have equal space and dignity within the party.
The key resolutions adopted during the meeting included the reaffirmation of support to the party president, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, and the senior leadership of the Naga People’s Front.
The members resolved to work in close coordination with the party leadership to further strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level across the state. It was decided to undertake an extensive outreach tour across minority-populated areas in Dimapur, Chümoukedima, Kohima, Mokokchung, Tuensang, and Peren districts, aimed at enhancing engagement, strengthening party presence, and contributing to the broader vision of state-building.
The Minority Wing also committed to working in synergy with other frontal organisations and the central body, while strictly adhering to party directives and constitutional principles.
