
Apong Pongener addresses the consultative meeting at the NPF
Divisional Office in Zunheboto on Tuesday.
- DIMAPUR — The Naga People’s Front (NPF) central
team, led by party president Apong Pongener, held consultative meetings with
divisional office bearers of the Zunheboto and Mokokchung divisions on Tuesday.
- These meetings were part of the party’s ongoing efforts to
strengthen organisational coordination and grassroots engagement across
Nagaland, stated a press release.
- The first meeting was held at the NPF Divisional Office in
Zunheboto and chaired by division president Khuketo Yepthomi. Party leaders,
including Hotovi Chishi and Akavi Sumi, addressed the gathering, and members of
the central office also shared inputs.
- President Apong Pongener, in his keynote address, called for
unity and proactive involvement in party activities, reaffirming the NPF’s
commitment to the Naga people’s aspirations.
- The second session took place at the NPF Divisional Office
in Mokokchung. The meeting was chaired by division president Tangit Imsong,
with contributions from leaders such as Imtisungkum, Lanukaba, and Tsuklongti.
Pongener reiterated the party’s vision and encouraged divisional leaders to
continue strengthening its grassroots presence.
- Interactive sessions were held in both divisions, allowing
local leaders to present suggestions and concerns directly to the central
leadership.
